Even the smallest sound can change the nature of a space.  Listen and look at how an object changes when it is surrounded by or embedded with an unfamiliar sound. 

I was able to play with sound within the Open Space project at Oriel Davies when a drawing room was created in the gallery.  I planted small vibrating pellets and music boxes around the room.  Sometimes I let just the smallest sound vibrate in a corner, other times I looped and layered the sounds to fill the space with a cacophony of the unknown.  The room was transformed into something new and strange.
